PETCO GRAND OPENING (LIVERMORE, CA) DECEMBER 15, 2011

As I have found my niche here in San Francisco at Petco, I had the opportunity to be part of the Grand Opening celebration of the new Livermore Petco store with my General Manager! It was great finally meeting other managers within the company and really feeling part of the team. I offered complimentary caricature sketches to our customers, (of their humans and dogs)! Some great faces and adorable dogs! And as a Petco dog trainer, I had the opportunity to speak to new puppy owners about the importance of training, proper puppy development and nutrition.

First Annual Petco Harvest Festival a success!

San Francisco Sloat Blvd. Petco hosted it's First Annual Harvest Festival on the weekend of October 22-23! As a new Petco Dog Trainer and Associate, I had the opportunity to bring my caricature experience to a new venue with pet lovers here in San Francisco. I got to draw wonderful families, and the cutest dogs and cats all day...and really got to know some of the frequent shoppers and their pets who live here in the community.

Children cheered and screamed during the Hamster Ball Derby outside, people enjoyed free snow cones, popcorn, candy and face painting. My managers and coworkers were busy with all of the customers packed in the store, excited to enter the drawings for some awesome Petco prizes like free grooms, free dog training, small animal kits, etc. (jealous!)
